The chalet has a good sized lounge with two matching sofas perfect for relaxing after a fun filled day at the beach. Adjoining a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower

Two bedrooms both of which have fitted wardrobes.

Flat Screen large Smart TV with Freeview in lounge, also able to connect up to all your favourite streaming platforms, netflix, amazon prime etc using the 4G Wifi.

California Sands Holiday Park

The chalet is located on California Sands Holiday Park which is close to Scratby Beach and the Norfolk Broads.

Facilities on site include:

• Indoor heated swimming pool
• Amusement Arcade

The Club Oasis hosts live shows and is a lively friendly family bar, children are always welcome. The club house is available at no extra charge. Please check the opening times and days on their website, as it is seasonal.

The heated indoor swimming pool, includes a changing area, shop and snack bar. Please search for the Oasis indoor swimming pool to check opening times and date as this is seasonal (generally end of May to September). Use of the pool is available for an additional charge.

The Dutchys Tavern offers live entertainment, with various live acts. Outside you will find a childrens play area and seating where you can enjoy a drink whilst your children play.

There are many beautiful beaches along the Norfolk coastline, but within walking distance of the chalet you will find the Scratby beach which is a beautiful sandy beach. You will also find amusements, the California Tavern Pub, fish and chip shop and the scratby bakery and the Beachcomber bar, all within walking distance.

Access to the beach is via a slope and steps. There is also limited parking available along the cliff top with public toilets.

Scratby is only a 5 minute drive away from the bustilng holiday town of Great Yarmouth, with its long promenade, two piers, brand new marina centre which includes flumes and swimming and the well known Arc Cinema which has the comfiest seats and offers all the latest movies. There are also a plethora of restaurants, amusements, cafe’s and bingo, along with the infamous Pleasure Beach if you fancy a night of thrills and rides.

Scratby beach also offers some good surfing opportunities which are better during the winter months and when the wind is in a westerly direction. When surfing conditions are good Scratby beach can certainly attract the crowds.

Whilst staying in the chalet, we would also recommend you visit the seaside village of Hemsby with its own great beach and plenty of amusements and fun to be had, and don’t forget a trip to see the seals which can often be found at Winterton or Horsey beaches.
